It will play normally like in a regular DVD player. Use the controller as a remote.

dude.. no worries.. all you have to do is put it in and it will play it for u.. and use the controller to skip ahead or fast forward and other things.. yup thats it..

if you put the dvd in the playstion 2 should just read the dvd then you can use the controller as the remote
